Team KSRTC Blog, a group of people who have been working hard to promote the cause of the loss making public sector company KSRTC, has come up with a new web portal named “KSRTC Image Database” for the hardcore bus fans across the state.

The website has been inaugurated by Mr. Irshad, Executive Director (Operations) KSRTC in the presence of Mr. Easter Yashica (Special Officer Pamba & Zonal Officer Thrissur) at KSRTC Bus Station premises, Pamba. Anyone can access the website by visiting the url: http://images.https://www.aanavandi.com/blog

The group had been highlighting the plight of the KSRTC through their website https://www.aanavandi.com/blog for the past five years.

As many as 32 people participated in the third edition of the meet. A handful of officials from the Corporation were also present at the gathering including the Executive Director  (Operations) and Pampa special officers. An interactive session with the officials was also arranged in which the fans made suggestions and ideas to improve the system.

The fanning trip started from the Pathanamthitta depot at 9.30 am on Thiruvalla Depot’s RNE 574, the bus arranged exclusively for the meet. The bus reached Pampa by 11.50 am. After the fanning session, the bus fans headed back to Pathanamthitta on Thiruvalla Depot’s RSC 479 via Nilakkal, Erumeli and Ranni by bags the collection of Rs. 3750 for the trip.

This was the third meet being organised by the group and there were people from various districts. Bangalore-based designer Jos F Scariah, who led the makeover process in the newly introduced Super Deluxe bus from Kochi to Bangalore and Santhosh Kuttan, a driver of Thiruvalla depot, who is behind the slogan “I Love My KSRTC” and other people who love KSRTC to the core who participated in the meet along with KSRTC staff from various depots who support and love us.

Launched five years ago, KSRTC Blog has become an encyclopaedia for KSRTC by including the news, pictures, videos, bus timings, complaint forums, feedbacks, bus reviews and forums to assist public in accessing various services provided by the Corporation. The group enjoys a fan following of more than 36,000 people in Facebook and more than 3,000 page visits per day to the blog.
