Buy a KTM Duke/RC motorcycle, win an Apple iPhone X: Here’s how

KTM India is running a new contest for buyers. Anyone who buys a KTM motorcycle between April 1st and May 31st of 2018, is eligible to win an iPhone X. All the buyer has to do is register on the KTM website after buying a motorcycle, and write a Facebook post with a picture of herself/himself and the KTM motorcycle.

The most exciting post will be selected by a jury each week, and will be awarded an iPhone X. This contest is only for those who buy a KTM Duke 200/250/390 or RC 200/390 between April 1st and May 31st, 2018. Through this contest, KTM hopes to create more social media buzz around its motorcycles sold in India.

KTM sells five motorcycles in India under the Duke and RC line-ups. The Duke is a street fighter range, and has 200cc, 250cc and 390cc naked streetbikes while the RC series represent fully faired sportbikes with engine capacities of 200cc and 390cc.

Essentially, the engines are shared between the Duke and RC range but styling and ergonomics are totally different. While the Duke has a sporty yet relaxed riding position that is designed for everyday commuting along with sporty riding during the weekends, the RC range gets track-focused ergonomics that can get uncomfortable for city riding.

The KTM Duke and RC range of entry-level sportbikes are tech-laden, and are built at Bajaj Auto’s Chakan factory. The Chakan factory is a global export hub for these motorcycles, which are exported to countries around the world. The Duke 200 and RC200 use a 200cc four stroke engine with a single cylinder layout, fuel injection and liquid cooling. This motor makes 25 Bhp and 19 Nm. The RC390 and Duke 390 use a 373cc engine with a similar configuration, but with much higher outputs of 44 Bhp and 37 Nm. The Duke 250 uses a 250cc engine with 30 Bhp and 24 Nm. All three engines get 6 speed gearboxes. ABS is standard on the Duke 390 and RC390. Prices start from Rs. 1.49 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi.
