Want to share an incident which happened today. I got bus from tambaram to kancheepuram in the evening. A pregnant woman started crying due to severe pain while travelling. (There is no specialized hospital between Padappai village and kancheepuram).
What driver and conductor did is “Not to stop the bus at any stops” and they stopped the bus 200 meters away from actual stopping to save time to avoid new passengers. (4 stops).
Driver started driving the bus more than 90 KM speed (Felt like ambulance)… While conductor requested all passengers be ready to get off from bus at their respective stops. (Mostly 10 Seconds were given for each stop due to prior intimation by conductor)
Meanwhile conductor intimated 108 ambulance service to be ready near kancheepuram. (Driver reached the ambulance within 40 mins instead of usual 80 mins.) Hats off to Driver & Conductor who saved two lives at right time. Even driver didn’t stop bus for police who waited at one of the stop…. The young driver and conductor proved them as real heros……
