KOCHI: The motor vehicles department (MVD) has suspended the licence of a private bus conductor for refusing to give concession ticket to a girl student and forcing to alight from the vehicle.
Aluva Joint RTO Joji P Jose suspended the licence of Koonammavu native Krishnakumar, the conductor of AlAmeen bus which plies on the Aluva-Koonammavu-Panayikkulam route.
The action against the conductor was taken following a complaint filed byTaluk Pouravakasa Samrakshana Samithi to MVD officials and Aluva DSP.
“The conductor refused to give concession to the girl student. The incident happened one month ago. He was found guilty in the inspection conducted by us and he confessed to it,” said Jose.
