Locals wash KSRTC bus out of adoration
A KSRTC bus turned a cult among the hearts of locals when it completed three years in service. Their adoration for the bus took new dimensions when they decided to wash the bus. The bus which is entering into the fourth year of its service run on the Pambady – Nedumkunnam route. People honored the driver and conductor of the bus by giving sweets.
Locals and staff of the bus feel that the service is profitable. The bus started its service after the initiative taken by Gramasevini Residents Association, Pambady three years back. On Tuesday, Gramasevini authorities and locals washed the bus and sprayed perfume before beginning its service of the day.
“This is the support and cooperation of the people for the popular services,” said Gramasevini president K R Rajan.
Passengers and bus staff participated in the clean up.
