Buses are given on hire to the public for purposes such as marriages, excursions etc., on the basis of rates fixed to operate between two fixed points which is known as Casual Contract.. Consequent to the revision of fares of stage carriages, the corporation has decided to enhance the rate of Private Hire Charges of buses.
Slab 1: Up to 5 hours. (Max 100 Kms) – Rs 40/km, Waiting Charge: Rs 500/ hour. Minimum charge: Rs. 6000/-
Slab 2: Up to 6 hours (Max 150 Kms) – Rs 40/km, Waiting Charge: Rs 500/ hour. Minimum charge: Rs 9000/-
Slab 3: Up to 8 hours (Max 200 Kms) – Rs 40/km, Waiting Charge: Rs 500/ hour. Minimum charge: Rs 12000/-
Slab 4: Above 8 hours (Above 200 Kms) – Rs 40/km, Waiting Charge: Rs 500/ hour. Minimum charge: Rs 15000/-
