One of the major reason for KSRTC’s losses is purely because of poor marketing tactics. Either KSRTC does not have a marketing team or KSRTC’s Marketing team is not doing their job.

Every product of service must be marketed properly to attract customers. Advertisements, offers and deals are very much necessary. Market research has to be done in order to study the potential of the business, which I think KSRTC might have never done.

If KSRTC and The Government set up a Marketing team headed by good quality officers, there could be a huge change in profits and benefits not only for the corporation but also for its employees and the common public.
