Aanavandi a private blog developed and maintained by Sujith Bhakthan & Team, with the goal of providing information about various public transport services in Kerala, including Kerala RTC services.

Kerala RTC runs buses from Mysore to major towns in Kerala. The Corporation provides a Reservation Counter at Mysore KSRTC bus stand. Passengers can reserve the tickets 21 days in advance. Contact Number: 0821 2440124 Schedules operating from Mysore with reservation facility are given below.

  • Reservation can be done from 06.00 Am to 10.00 Pm
  • Reservation can be done for the buses coming from Bangalore as well.

for latest and updated bus timings of KSRTC

  1. Yeah, If you want to reserve a ticket for Munnar deluxe which is coming from Bangalore, you need to do the reservation by paying the fare amount from Bangalore to Munnar by selecting the boarding point as “Mysore bus station”.

  2. The above mentioned Time table shows the timings of the Kerala RTC Buses from Mysore to various places to Kerala. A seperate time table has to be kept for the buses coming from Bangalore. It will be very helpful to the passenges. Nobody will book a ticket from Bangalore with boarding place as Mysore, since we will have to pay the fare from Bangalore to Mysore. The reasons are that passengers from Mysore Road Satellite Bus Stand do not travel in Kerala RTC Buses, though it is faster. People in Mysore Bus Stand can look for seats for the buses coming from Bangalore to Iritty/Tellicherry/Kannur/Payyannur. Karnataka RTC is also operating a Fast Express bus to Kannur at 1631 hours from Mysore (Via) Virajpet/Iritty to reach Mysore at 2200 hours & return to Mysore from Kannur at 7 a.m. This will help many passengers going directly to Iritty/Kannur. This route is introduced w.e.f. 01-03-2011.

  3. There is a mistake in my earlier mail. The Karnataka Express RTC Bus from Mysore leaves Mysore at 1631 hours (Via) Virajpet/Iritty to reach Kannur at 2200 hours & return to Mysore from Kannur at 7 a.m. This will help many passengers going directly to Iritty/Kannur. This route is introduced w.e.f. 01-03-2011. Many passengers can avail this service.

  4. The Kerala RTC is operating a Fast Passenger Bus from Mysore to Tellicherry at 1330 & 1430 hours This will help many passengers going directly to Tellicherry. Ladies and families especiall children can avail this service instead of waiting for the night buses from Bangalore. It is a safety for them also. Many passengers can avail this service.

  5. Please publish the list of all buses to Kerala originating from Bangalore passing though Mysore
