So, you were saying you don’t have the budget to take a quick holiday? It may just be your day today! Dubai’s Emirates airline has launched a flash seat sale as part of its winter travel promotion.

Airfares to several of its key destinations have been slashed to entice passengers during this non-peak-travel period.

Yes, no-school-holidays does (sometimes) actually spell ‘cheaper’ breaks thanks to lower airfares and lower hotel prices! Ticket prices to some of Emirates’ key destinations in India and Pakistan now stand below Dh1,000 – these can surge to double their current prices during peak holiday season (New Year’s, for instance).

Among the most interesting featured fares, return airfare from Dubai to Karachi stands at Dh970 while that from Dubai to Mumbai is Dh980. Add a couple of more hundred dirhams, and your itinerary can include Delhi or Colombo (Dh1,100 each), and Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi or Sialkot (all under Dh1,200).

For a closer journey, a hop to Doha and back will set you back by Dh700 while return flights to Bahrain and Muscat will cost D790 and Dh800, respectively. But while travel remains open until March 31, 2017, the time to lock-in these fares is now – the discounted deals offer expires in two days.
