The city-based State government cooperative institution has launched the novel tour from the capital city to Kochi.

The tourists can board the Air India flight from the international terminal here at 6 a.m. to Kochi.

The flight will give glimpses of the State capital, the commercial capital of the State, and palm-fringed beaches, lakes, and lagoons.

From the Nedumbaserry airport, the tourists will be taken for a trip on the newly commissioned Kochi Metro and then by road to Fort Kochi and Mattancherry.

They will also have time to see the other tourist attractions in Kochi. A cruise in the Arabian sea and backwaters are part of the package.

Breakfast and lunch have been included in the tour package, priced at 4,000 per person.
