The KSRTC has decided to operate more services to Bengaluru from October 20 to 27 to clear rush during Vijayadasami. Advance booking can be done online.
The services from Bengaluru would be from October 20 to 22. The buses to Kozhikode via Mananthavady and Sulthan Bathery would leave Bengaluru at 8. 30 p.m., 9.30 p.m., 11.40 p.m. and 11.50 p.m. The services to Thrissur, Ernakulam, Kottayam via Mananthavady would leave Bengaluru at 8.15 p.m., 7. 45 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. respectively. The bus from Bengaluru (Peenya) to Thalassery via Mysore-Iritty would leave at 8. 45 p.m. The return journey from these depots to Bengaluru would be from October 24 to 26. The buses from Kozhikode to Bengaluru via Mananthavady would leave at 8.15 p.m., 8.30 p.m., 9.10 p.m. and 9.45 p.m. The services from Thrissur, Ernakulam, Kottayam via Mananthavady would start at 8.15 p.m., 7.15 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. respectively. The service from Thalassery to Bengaluru (Peenya) would leave at 8.30 p.m.
It will operate super fast services from Alappuzha to Bengaluru at 6 a.m.
