This man spends 16 Lakh for just to get a car number

An NRI dished out Rs 16 Lakhs for a 0001 registration plate for his new range rover. Raleef native Thrissur gifted this brand new Range Rover to his wife on their 15th Wedding anniversary. He spent Rs 16 Lakhs for getting the registration number as 0001.

“If I can spend lakhs of rupees on buying a car then what is the harm in spending on a VIP number? I see it as a matter of pride while I drive around in my newly bought car with a VIP number,”  Raleef said about his KL -08- BL-0001 registration plate.

However, this is the first time a family has bought a fancy number by spending this huge amount.
