Yeah, this will happen when they try to do so. We can always see that the police authorities are always targeting the bikers for not using the helmet however it is compulsory in the country. Usually, they catch people and put fine for not using the helmet.
But the rule is made for everyone and no exceptions for policemen or others. Here is a scene from Kerala, where some locals are blocking a policeman for not using his bike without the helmet.
