Karlad Lake, Wayanad : Amazing…Adventure…
Karlad Lake is a less explored tourist destination in Wayanad. Located 16 km away from Kalpetta, this lake is only adventure tourism spot in the the district.
The tourists can indulge in adventure sporting activities such as zip lining, boating, and rafting at this serene and gorgeous location. Also, facilities for conducting adventure camps are available here.
The Wayanad Adventure Camp, set up at a cost of Rs 1 crore on a 13.4-acre site near Karlad lake, is the first of its kind in south India, adding it would have facilities for adventure sports like kayaking, climbing on rock panel, zip line, archery and land zorbing.
