Parassinikkadavu Snake Park , Kannur
Parassinikadavu Snake Park is located about 16 km from Kannur town and near to Parassinikadavu Muthappam temple. The park houses a variety of snakes and other small animals, including the Spectacled Cobra, King Cobra, Russell’s viper, Krait and various pit vipers. There is also a large collection of non-venomous snakes including pythons.

The Snake Park, established for the conservation and preservation of snakes, is the only one of its kind in Kerala. It houses more than 100 varieties of snakes like the Cobra, the Viper, and the Krait.
Lecture demonstrations are conducted at the park by trained personnel to disseminate information about snakes and to create awareness that will help fight superstitions regarding these reptiles.
