I have decided to go for a road trip from my home in Kozhencherry to Goa via Kochi, Kozhikode and it was my first day I started from my home and drove till Kozhikode. Reached Kozhikode by 11.30 Pm and I was tired and had to stay there overnight.
It was difficult to get a room because it was a weekend and finally I had to pay Rs. 1250 for an AC room in a hotel called Metro Lodge which was located near to the KSRTC Bus station in Kozhikode. The room was not up to the mark and the service was pathetic. The booking was done through Makemytrip website.
Next day morning we started from there and moved to Mahe. Enroute we just dropped into Kozhikode beach and Kappad beach. Kozhikode beach usually doesn’t get crowded in the morning but a favourite place for locals to hang out and do the exercise, sports coaching etc. We then moved to Kappad beach which is 20 Km far from there and Kappad beach.
