Fancy a tour of the Titanic? Well this firm will take you

A tour company is planning to offer Titanic fans the chance to take a dive around the wreck, in a voyage which will take thrill-seekers and history buffs almost three miles beneath the surface of the ocean.

The 104th anniversary of Titanic’s sinking falls on April 15, just a few weeks away, and now it’s emerged that those hooked on the tragic tale will soon be able to get a very close-up view of the ship.

The dives will be organised by Ocean Gate Expeditions and Blue Marble Private, and will start next year.

Voyages will set off from the coast of Newfoundland, Canada and each dive lasts for eight days. Only nine people will be able to go on each mission.

Tourists will travel in a specially designed titanium and carbon fibre submersible along with an expert crew, so it’ll be super-safe.

The vechicle will reach depths of 4,000 metres and those taking part in the trip should be able to see the deck as well as where the famous grand staircase – the centrepiece of the 1990s blockbuster movie starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio – once stood.
