Qatar Airways was named “Airline of the Year” by the air transport ratings group Skytrax at the Paris Air Show, reports CNN Money.

The Skytrax awards are decided based on independent surveys completed by 19.87 million passengers from 105 countries.

One of the world’s fastest-growing airlines, Qatar Airways also won a raft of other major awards at the ceremony, including Best Airline in the Middle East, World’s Best Business Class and World’s Best First Class Airline Lounge.

Back in 2016, former Tech Insider video producer Grace Raver flew business class on a 7 hour Qatar Airways flight from Bangkok to Doha on an A380-800 Airbus.

The airline reclaimed its crown after finishing second past year to Dubai-based rival Emirates.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has re-clinched the No. 2 position in the Skytrax World Airline Awards rankings, according to an announcement on the World Airline Awards website. That news came after the United Kingdom and United States banned passengers from using laptops and other larger electronics in the cabins on flight originating from several Middle Eastern nations-which has led to financial implications for airlines servicing those countries.

And following this evaluation process it awards the most successful organizations with its World Airline Awards described as “the Oscars of the aviation industry“. CNN Money points out executive pod seats that recline to flat beds and 21-inch entertainment screens could have something to do with it too.

The guests can also seamlessly connect to any point in AirAsia’s network with just one stop at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Asia’s low-priced carrier hub – or other transit hubs in Thailand and Indonesia using the Fly-Thru service.

The airline previously won the title of the World’s Best Airline in 2011, 2012 and 2015.
