Elaborate arrangements have been made by the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) for Ayyappa devotees proceeding from the State and neighbouring States to Sabarimala during the Mandalam-Makaravillaku season beginning November 16.
The State transport utility’s Pampa bus station will commence functioning on November 14. As many as 100 buses will be deployed for the Nilackal-Pampa chain service during the initial days of pilgrimage.
The Pampa bus station will get 70 buses for operating services to various bus depots. Majority of the buses will be low-floor buses.
