KSRTC Blog Timeline – Memories of KSRTC Blog

KSRTC Blog – Everything About KSRTC turns 6 this yeah and we want to take this opportunity to thank you, for your continuous support and love. Without which KSRTC Blog would have never seen such tremendous growth as we did last year with over 1 Lakhs + new members joining our facebook page, over 1,000 new posts being made and more than 30 Lakhs visitors paying a visit to our beloved community.

KSRTC Blog is not just another travel site or forum, but rather an extended family, where we rush in to share the ideas, knowledge and information regarding our own KSRTC.

And this is exactly why, we are so eager to switch on the internet in the morning and see what we have missed out during our sleep and check how many pages have been added to the blog. :-D

Nevertheless, as with any large family, there are different points of views, interests and multitude of voices, at times drawing in a feeling of being misunderstood or not being heard. But everyone comes here are those who love KSRTC and those who wish to see the KSRTC in a higher position.

And since we believe, a family should listen to one and all, we request you to send your suggestions, feedbacks, complaints, anecdotes or even jokes to us, so that we can not only grow in a tremendous manner over the next few years, but also in a more inclusive way, where our readers feel valued and involved and newbies feel welcomed.

Now, I would like to take your attention to some our our memories during those old golden days.

1) The First Layout of KSRTC Blog (In 2008). It was created using a free template in blogger.com and was having mainly the photos and time tables of Kerala RTC’s Bangalore bound buses.

2) Blog template has changed in 2010 and started including more contents like latest updates about KSRTC, Suggestion and Complaints from users, Image Gallery, and a great discussion forum.

3) Now at present, In 2014 KSRTC Blog is one of the leading travel information portal which is providing each and everything about KSRTC to the public. KSRTC Blog is having an average of 10,000+ daily visitors and our Facebook Page is having almost 2 Lakhs + followers and our posts are getting millions of reach.
4) I would like to remember one more thing which we arranged an interactive discussion forum between KSRTC Officers (including the CMD) and public at Thiruvananthapuram few years ago.

5) And we used to organize frequent Bus Fanning trips across the state, in which like minded people who love KSRTC can join together and share their happiness.
