In an example of honesty of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) staff, a bracelet found on a bus was handed over by them to senior Corporation officials.

The incident occurred on Thursday. The Thiruvananthapuram-Nagercoil early morning fast passenger service of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation had returned to the Central depot at Thampanoor just before 8 a.m. when the attention of conductor Manoj Kumar V.R. and driver T. Baiju was drawn to a gold bracelet lying under the seat.

Since the owner could not be traced, the duo, after finishing their duty at 1 a.m. on Friday, deposited the bracelet at the depot as per the directions of senior officials.

Manoj Kumar, a city resident who has been employed with the KSRTC for the past eight years, has found passengers’ important documents and returned them on earlier occasions, besides foiling theft attempts.
