The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has won the State/UT Award 2016 for Best Electoral Practices. The award was given to the DTC for providing logistical support in an efficient manner during the Delhi Legislative Assembly Elections of 2015.
The award was received by C.R. Garg, Managing Director, DTC on National Voter’s Day on January 25. The DTC was awarded for operating special buses on 35 routes on February 7, 2015.
