Maruti Suzuki 800 remains an iconic car that changed the automobile market scenario of the country.

The car was discontinued in 2014 after remaining in production for decades. There are still many great-looking examples of the Maruti Suzuki 800 in the Indian market and many of them have been beautifully resto-modded with modern features.

Well, this Maruti Suzuki 800 gets one of the craziest modifications that you have ever seen in life. The small hatchback gets massive tractor tyres after modifications and this is something that you have never seen in your life.

The car was modified as a project for HR Experiment. The video does not give the details of the modifications and what changes have been done to the vehicle but a small clip shows that to accommodate the huge tractor tyres, custom spacers were made and were attached to the front and rear axle. All the four tyres of the Maruti Suzuki 800 have been replaced with a new one and it sure looks like something that you have never seen before.

We are not sure about the size of these tyres installed on this modified Maruti Suzuki 800 but it seems like that the tyres are of 28 inches but they look massive on the small hatchback. The video shows that the Maruti Suzuki 800 with the massive tyres running around at a slow speed but we wonder how the driver will negotiate tight turns with this car. This modification job is purely experimental.

While upsizing is a common thing that many people do to improve the stance of their vehicles, one should keep in mind that putting oversized tyres can negatively impact the car. Really big tyres than the stock can cause suspension trouble, low fuel efficiency and also put extra stress on the brakes and other important parts of the vehicle. Putting too big tyres also affect the handling and comfort of the vehicle. Moreover, it will give you the wrong speedometer and odometer reading and may also affect the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).

One should always follow the upsizing charts to ensure that they are not ruining the vehicles. However, there are many who still put oversized tyres on their vehicles. It should be noted that manufacturers can void the warranty of the vehicle for installing bigger tyres than stock and even cops can issue a fine for installing such tyres.

The manufacturers tune everything in the vehicle according to the stock tyre size. Changing the tyre size will affect the vehicle’s longevity and will prematurely wear and tear a lot of parts. If you’re planning to upgrade the tyres, it is best to stick to the stock size or consult an expert on the upsizing.
