One of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC)’s new class of buses, named the “Silver Line Jet”. RPC 101 of Trivandrum depot was running the Thiruvanathapuram – Palakkad route and here it is at Thrissur bus station amidst drizzling rain and surrounded by other buses. These Ashok Leyland buses feature reclinable 2×2 seating, strictly limited stops (only 5 stops), free WiFi on board, window curtains and so on. There are five “Silver Line Jets” and all run within Kerala. These Silver Line Jets are actually the revival of a class of buses called “Lightning Express” that were run by KSRTC around 20 years ago.
