Kerala State Human Rights Commission (KSHRC) the other day directed the government to investigate the allegations levelled against the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) top officials.

KSHRC judicial member R Natarajan has directed the transport department secretary to investigate the complaints raised by the employees of the KSRTC against its managing director and finance officer.

According to a complaint lodged by G Velayudhan of Alappuzha, KSRTC had a daily collection of Rs 5 crore when Director General of Police T P Senkumar was the head of the Corporation. The complainant said inefficiency of the KSRTC officials led to the present state of the organisation. The Commission directed the govt secretary to submit the investigation report to it.
