Kerala State Road Transport Corporation will be operating special services from Chengannur Railway Station towards Pamba (Sabarimala). Pampa is the nearest place to Sabarimala that can be accessed only by road. Sabarimala is about 5 kms away from Pamba. And Chengannur is the nearest Railway Station to catch buses towards Pamba.
KSRTC operates special service from various depots namely TVM Central, Punalur, Kottarakkara, Chengannur, Kottayam, Erumely, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Kumaly, etc…
KSRTC provides safe and comfortable journey to the pligrims from different centres in addition to long distant services to various other destinations according to the traffic demand round the clock during the festival season.
Pilgrims can avail buses to Pamba round the clock from Chengannur Railway Station. During the pilgrim season, there will be frequent bus services to Pamba from Chengannur Railway Station.
Chengannur – Pamba running time would be around 3 hours via Pathanamthitta, Vadasserikkara.
