Why the railway station boards are yellow?
Whenever you see a railway station board,you notice that it is of Yellow color background with black letters.Do you ever think what is the reason behind this Yellow Color .Why Red,violet,Green,Orange,Blue etc colors are not used ? There are several reason behind this, since Yellow is the shade of daylight. It’s related with bliss, satisfaction, mind, and vitality.
Yellow is the color of sunshine. It’s associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy. Yellow with black lettering sends out a clear information message which is needed in such an environment. Using yellow also makes it easy to use orange, red and green which all work great together in a signage system.
