Southern Railway will run weekly special trains in the Kochuveli-Mangaluru, Kochuveli-Puducherry and Ernakulam-Howrah sectors between April 1 and July 2 to clear extra rush of passengers.

Train 06053 Kochuveli-Mangaluru Junction special fare special train will start from Kochuveli at 6.35 p.m. on Fridays from April 7 to June 30 to reach Mangaluru Junction at 5.10 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, 06054 will start from Mangaluru Junction at 3.40 p.m. on all Sundays from April 9 to July 2 to reach Kochuveli at 5 a.m on following Mondays. The train will run via Kottayam.

Train 06052 will start from Kochuveli at 5.10 a.m. on Thursdays falling between April 6 and June 29, to reach Puducherry at 8.10 p.m. the same day. In the return direction, 06051 will start from Puducherry at 10.30 p.m. on all Fridays from April 6 to June 29 to reach Kochuveli at 2.15 p.m. the following day.

 Suvidha special

Train 82801 Suvidha special will start from Howrah at 5 p.m. on April 1 to reach Ernakulam Junction at 6 a.m. the following Monday. Train 02856, in the return direction, will start from Ernakulam Junction at 8.50 a.m. on April 4 to reach Howrah at 11 p.m. the following Wednesdays .
