Double Decker Express are fully air-conditioned two floor express trains. They have high priority and are considered among fast trains in India. Double decker AC trains were introduced in India in 2012. The Ahmedabad – Mumbai Central Double Decker Express was the first superfast air-conditioned Double Decker train in India, introduced on 19 September 2012.
