As part of its passenger-friendly initiatives, the APSRTC has introduced an App titled Live Tracker APSRTC City Bus to provide necessary information about the RTC at the click of a mouse.
Speaking to TNIE here on Friday, APSRTC regional manager C Ravi Kumar has said that the App provides details about the bus movement, locations, nearest bus stations, arrival and departure timings, reservations and seating positions etc.
The customer can download Live Tracker APSRTC City Bus from Google Play Store in Andriod. The features of the App would be displayed on the screen. One can get the necessary information by clicking on the concerned feature. Ravi Kumar appealed to the public at large to download the app and get up-to-date information.
Features of APSRTC Live Track
Search for bus stop
By indicating the current location, the customer can get information about the nearest bus station. Search for buses- Information about the details of buses and time taken to cover the distance between two selected stations.
Favourite bus
A person who travels regularly in a particular bus can save the bus service number and get information about its location and expected time of arrival.
Emergency
In case of emergency situations like mishaps, a passenger can get necessary information. This enables the staff at the office to respond quickly to situations.
